Since 1995, Mark Jones has provided water treatment services in the New River Valley, highly customized for each customers’ specific water needs and bringing honesty and respectability to the local water needs in the New River Valley. With his certifications as a master plumber, gas fitter, backflow prevention specialist, and Rinnai service provider, he has experience with most water conditions that are found in the New River Valley. In September, 2013, Mark added to those certifications by being certified by the Water Quality Association as a Certified Water Specialist I (CWS-1). At the same time, our service technician, Zachary Hall, has become a Certified Installer.
“Having been a plumber in the New River Valley for over 30 years, I have observed most water problems that are prevalent in the area. When I needed to find a water treatment equipment provider I could trust, I chose Water-Right because of their unique equipment and treatment systems which are able to treat problem waters while minimizing the use of harmful chemicals. I have been factory trained by Water-Right for installation and service of their equipment, and attend updating seminars annually. After nearly 20 years of installation and service of Water-Right equipment, we are able to provide quality treated water at a reasonable cost.”
In 2006, we created Clear Water Testing, LLC and began the process of starting a laboratory for testing for E.coli and total coliform in well and spring water. In February 2007, Clear Water Testing, LLC received its state certification for testing E.coli & total coliform in drinking water. Our ability to provide a local state-certified E.coli & total coliform water test has allowed us to expand the services we can provide in the New River Valley. Consultations on bacteria remediation for your well/spring systems are available upon request. Other water testing services are also available.
We have been installing the highly energy-efficient Rinnai tankless water heaters since 1999. Mark has been trained in installation classes locally and service classes at the Rinnai Corporation in Peachtree City, GA. In 2006, Rinnai started an Authorized Service Provider program and requested that he participate in it. We are now stocking parts for the Rinnai tankless water heaters that are sold in this area, to enable us to provide prompt service in a single service call to local owners of the Rinnai tankless water heaters.
In November, 2010, we moved our office to our current location at 1075 West Main St, Christiansburg, to make our company more visible within the community. To visit our office, exit off of I-81 at exit #114 (Rt 8/Floyd exit) and turn north towards town. Go thru the first light and look for our office about 200 yards down on the left. Our drop box is available 24/7 for those people who are dropping off water samples for either a FREE EVALUATION of your water or for bacteria testing.
Our FREE EVALUATION consists of testing your sample for hardness, iron, pH, manganese, TDS (total dissolved solids), and a few more. On-site EVALUATIONS are also available if you have a particularly difficult iron or sulfur problem. If you are bringing in a FREE EVALUATION for testing and you have existing water treatment equipment, bring us a sample of raw water (before the system) and treated water (after the system) and we can confirm the operation of your system. If you have other testing needs, please call the office to get additional information.
In 2010, Water-Right purchased a family owned company called WaterCare based out of Manitowoc, WI that has a strong history in providing effective water treatment equipment for residential and commercial applications. In the summer of 2013, we were offered the opportunity to join the Professional Level Dealer Network with WaterCare, effectively changing our main product brand from Water-Right to WaterCare. With our many years of believing in and selling the Water-Right brand, this was a tough decision to make. However, Water-Right’s purchase of WaterCare in 2010 and the resulting expanded product lines for WaterCare actually give our customers the best of both worlds. We will still be able to service Water-Right equipment as needed, but we will be able to provide more options for our customers in the purchase of new equipment – residential and commercial. And we will still have the same awesome Water-Right/WaterCare technical service.
With the addition of a local state-certified laboratory for E.coli and total coliform water testing, a new range of products from WaterCare, the plumbing and backflow testing certifications, and the Rinnai service technician certification, we are continuing to upgrade and improve our service to your water treatment needs.
